ULTRAVALVE ACQUISITION STRENGTHENS BONOMI'S UK OPERATION (29 JUNE 2016)

Leading process valve and actuator supplier Bonomi (UK) has announced the acquisition of one of its largest UK distributors, Ultravalve Ltd.

Halesowen-based Ultravalve Ltd has been a Bonomi distributor for more than 20 years and enjoys a strong reputation across the West Midlands; employing 9 staff and achieving anual sales in excess of £1 million.

Ultravalve will continue to operate from its current business premises as a wholly owned subsidiary, and is excited about the new oppoertunines that Bonomi ownership will bring, as Ultravalve managing director explains:

"We have been a distributor in the process industry for over 30 years and are also a specialist in RPZ Valves offering supply, installation, testing and ongoing maintenance. In addition to the Bonomi ranges, Ultrvalve also offer Mondeo and Vexve products through exclusive UK distributors.

"The fact that we will no longer be restricted to just the Midlands region gives us tremendous scope and means that we will now be able to provide a UK wide service."

The acqusition also gives us acqusition to Ultravalve's impressive portfolio including the Vexve range of valves developed specifically for District Heating and District Cooling applications as well as Mondeo's wide selection of valves, manifolds and flanges which includes WRAS approved check valves."

He Concludes: "Bonomi is currently undergoing a period of rapid expansion, seen most recently with the opeing of our massive new Italian manufacturing operation, and the time is definitely right to consolidate our two companies and in doing so further strengthen our UK position."
